No, I’m not afraid to say it.

Although it was unfinished when released, Blog Rush seemed like it would be a cool little program with lots of potential at the time.- A Traffic Exchange of sorts but strictly for blogs.
I’m a sucker for cool new gadgets and toys.
Especially if they have anything to do with traffic generation or Internet Marketing.

However, something happened today that really pissed me off regarding Blog Rush.
It wasn’t the technical shortcomings of the program but rather a service style that in my opinion, leaves a lot to be desired.
After attempting to log into my Blog Rush account today with no success, I was notified that they had de-activated my account.

You see, they seem to have a problem with sites they feel are “advertising too much”.
Now, we all know this blog is about Internet Marketing, hence the title.
Advertising and the discussion of advertising services is the name of the game.
This blog fully abides by the guidelines they have set forth such as:

It is updated a minimum of once a month,
It does not contain, adult, illegal, racist, warez or other such material, blah blah blah.
Does not contain automatically generated content.
Has more than 10 posts.

TrafficPunk and Resale Rocket are services that I provide.
The purpose of this blog is to provide a forum of discussion of these services as well as Internet Marketing in general for members to receive updated information.

What bugs me the most is that after referring several members to Blog Rush, I can’t even log into an area to view my stats, referrals and credits I still have left in the system.
I’m completely locked out of my back office.
And to make it feel even more like I’m a child being called to the time out corner, they ask you to remove the Blog Rush code from your site.
Oh well, that’s cool. You guys are welcome.

I’ve heard some say that Blog Rush was dead on arrival.
Maybe there’s more than one reason for it?
It never delivered a single hit let alone a “Rush” anyway.
Good Riddance.
