When choosing a hosting plan how do you figure out how much space you need to download books or software to people?
Also, do I understand this correctly? You must charge MSRP or more on things that have a price listed and cannot make any changes and PLR articles may be changed and given away?

Hi Tom,
The short answer is that it really depends on your business plan. ie; what you plan to do with your sites once you’ve chosen a host?
There are key factors to keep in mind when choosing a host such as
traffic volume, budget, server space, quality of support, etc.
Everyone has different needs and those needs can vary quite a bit.
If you are just starting out and need a reliable host with great support, tons of space and lots of monthly bandwidth, I’d recommend a shared hosting account from Zoot Host.

I currently use Zoot Host for all my sites on a dedicated server and I can honestly say that their support is very friendly and second to none.
If you’re not sure where to start, the owner, Jon Atwood can guide you based on your needs.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.
As for the MSRP on the Resale Rights products, that represents the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price’.
Depending on the rights that come with the product, you may or may not change the price.
However, most product authors will allow you to, provided you don’t make the price too low in order not to de-value its overall market value.
For example, a product with a MSRP of 47.00 might be ok if you resold it for 37.00 but not 5 dollars.
PLR articles on the other hand, allow you to set your own prices, claim full authorship, make changes to and give it away in most cases if you wish.
For all downloads, its always a good idea to review the “rights” that come with each just to make sure, as some of them may slightly vary depending on the author’s wishes.
