What is the personal Business Builder?
At Promo Lotto, we offer a unique little tool that helps you brand your self while promoting your business.
The best part is that its fully customizable, so you can add up to 3 of your favorite affiliate programs, opportunities or other websites of interest.
Your “PPB” website will feature your name, photo and links to sites you promote and its fully hosted for you, so there is no need to worry about uploading or downloading anything

Ok, lets set one up shall we?
Log into Promo Lotto and click the “Personal Program Builder” link on the main menu on your left.

1. Enter the name of the business or service you want to promote. ex: “Bob’s widgets”
2. Enter a brief description of the product or service. Include benefits, etc..
3. Enter a link to a 468×60 banner graphic. It can be a .GIF, .JPG or .PNG file.
4. Enter the link where people would go when the banner is clicked. This can be your affiliate link.
5. Click the “Save and Update” button

That’s it!
Once you have added and saved your first program, you may add and save two more.
If you have more than one, you may also reorder the priority by changing which banner appears at the top.
You can delete them or edit them at any time.

Optional: For branding your photo and building trust among your viewers, its a good idea to add your photo.
It is not mandatory but is recommended.

What is a Website Rotator?
A website rotator is a convenient tool that allows you to promote multiple websites by using just one link.
When a website rotator link is displayed, any of the websites within it will appear at random.
This makes promoting multiple affiliate programs much easier because you can simply use your rotator link to promote them all once you have one set up.
To see how it works, click my rotator link below, then click the refresh button on your web browser a few times.
You’ll see multiple websites display:
http://www.promolotto.com/rotator.php?id=4

How to Setup Your Free Website Rotator:
Once you have logged into your member’s area at Promo Lotto, you’ll see a list of navigation links on the
left hand side.
To access the rotator setup area, simply click “Promotional Links/Tools“, then click the “rotator” tab at the top of your affiliate toolbox.

1. Name Your Rotator:
where it says “name your rotator”, type in a name you’d like to have for it and click the Save button.
You should then see your new rotator name appear in the list below.
2. Adding Sites to the Rotator:
In the box below the new rotator name, type in the website address of a site you with to promote and click the
“Add new URL” button to save it.
3. Using Your Rotator Link:
Once you have finished adding your sites to your rotator, you will have a link provided that looks similar to
this one: http://www.promolotto.com/rotator.php?id=4
(This is the link you will use to promote your programs in other Traffic Exchanges)

Note:
Free members may add up to 10 websites while Premium members may add up to 20.
Each submission will need to be approved by us before being shown in rotation.

Okay, so I just recently updated to the new WordPress version 2.7..
No big deal, right? Or is it?

Well, to be honest, this isn’t just a minor upgrade that patches security issues or various reported bugs.
Wordpress 2.7 pretty much completely revamped the admin area which as you know, is where we all do
most of our handiwork.

What’s changed?
The admin area has been completely reorganized and some of the main points I love most about 2.7 include the fact that they’ve given us more room to type a post. True, you can always resize the window, but its even better now.
Also, updating plugins can now be done in just seconds and on-the-fly.
Just click update and you’re done.
Its a major timesaver since there’s nothing to download from the WP plugins directory and then upload to your server.
Users, Tools and Settings are much more easily accessed in my opinion, which is  a welcomed change.
Basically, everything in the new navigation area just seems to make more sense.

Word of advice:
There have been some reported issues with the 2.7 upgrade and some older WordPress themes.
If you’re considering making the switch to 2.7, I’d suggest first making sure that its fully compatible with 2.7
Many of them already will be but its always a good idea to check ahead of time with the theme author and
make a backup of your database just in case. You should be doing this anyway
